Chef

The Chef position at StartupForge offers a clear path to grow while working alongside a talented, collaborative team. The proposition holds together — $66,000 - $105,000, 4 years, a TX base, and ownership the rest of the market rarely grants.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve customer concerns with patience and a focus on outcomes
• Trade quick wins for mentorship-focused fixes when the math favors patience
• Earn the trust to make deeply-bought-in judgment calls without a committee
• Read between the lines of what Grand Prairie customers actually need
• Push back, respectfully, when a Multitasking shortcut will cost us later

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience with modern Table Service workflows and tooling
• An instinct for prioritization when everything is labeled urgent
• The reflex to surface risk before it surfaces itself
• 5 years that taught you which corners can be cut
• Experience at the mid-level inside a freelance role
• Solid Work-Life Balance grounding, plus Property Management Systems you can pick up on the fly
