The role
This is a full-time Creative Writer position for a maker who cares as much about the idea as the execution. Trade 5 years of Color Theory for $88,000 - $131,000 and you also get creative ownership and a Booz Allen Hamilton crew that wants you to win.
Key Responsibilities
- Set guardrails loose enough for senior creatives to surprise you inside them
- Recast dry compliance copy as something a human might willingly read
- Own the look of seasonal launches from moodboard through final handoff
- Trace every Usability Testing asset back to the brief so revisions stay honest
- Pitch fresh concepts in cross-functional reviews and stakeholder presentations
- Pressure-test headlines against real audience reactions before anything goes live
What You'll Bring
- Willingness to relocate to Federal Way, WA, or to make remote work
- A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your creative expertise
- The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire
- Strong rapport-building skills and a genuinely positive presence
- The communication discipline to over-share early and trim later
Three things define Booz Allen Hamilton: a Federal Way address, a forever-learning culture, and a near-religious devotion to Color Theory. Every Creative Writer at Booz Allen Hamilton owns an outcome, not just a checklist of tasks.
Pay is $88,000 - $131,000, growth is structured, mentorship is personal, and the flexible full-time schedule is non-negotiable in your favor.
